My pedagogical approach fosters an enjoyment of music that will last a lifetime in the student, from the toddler music and movement to school age students, right up to adulthood, I aim to nurture a deep appreciation of music, and develop a true musician in the process.

Our teaching philosophy is one of flexibility. In our classes, like Kindermusik and Mini Musicians, we follow the child’s interests. In private and instrumental lessons, we will take the time to analyze the learning styles, strengths and weaknesses of each individual student and adapt each lesson to their goals.

We’ll explore all possibilities to engage students and help them along in their musical path. We use various methods, such as primary method books, Royal Conservatory Programs, online memberships, games and off-the-bench activities to enhance the learning experience for each student.

A music education provides much more than learning notes on a page. Students learn necessary life skills such as self-discipline, self-expression, responsibility, patience, and teamwork through lessons. We’ll strive to instill a love of music that will carry on for the rest of my students’ lives. We are experienced, RCM Certified, Kindermusik Certified, professionals that aim to provide an individual learning path which fits each student’s interest, dedication and ability.
